Joseph O'Sullivan, Esq.
Attorney O'Sullivan (Joe) joined Statera Law as Partner/Owner, after having practiced as a real estate attorney since 2014. Joe focuses his practice on real estate conveyancing and land title matters including purchases, sales and refinances. He guides clients through the process, handling purchase and sale negotiation, condominium document review, condominium conversions. He also assists clients with landlord-tenant matters and lease negotiations.
Joe received his J.D. from New England Law | Boston in 2012. While at New England Law | Boston, he founded and served as the President of the American-Irish Law Society, which won the SBA Student Organization of the Year Award in its inaugural year for the work done in conjunction with City Life/Vida Urbana and the Harvard Legal Aid Bureau to fight evictions and preserve communities in the aftermath of the financial crisis, and for the work done to raise food and money for the Greater Boston Food Bank.
Joe received his B.S. from St. Thomas Aquinas College in Sparkill, NY in 2004. In the time between obtaining his undergraduate degree and attending law school, Joe worked in various capacities with national and multinational corporations, in operational and sales positions. This experience included two years with residential lenders, allowing him to have a broad understanding of the residential financing process from different “sides of the table”.
Joe currently resides in West Roxbury with his wife, Courtney, and their son. In his free time, Joe enjoys traveling and taking advantage of events and opportunities throughout the greater Boston and New England area, including outdoor activities and festivals. An avid baseball fan, Joe loves getting to Fenway Park (even though he is a NY Mets Fan).
